18 Rainbow and Brooke trout has to be a record.
I must admit I felt the competition keenly as Daniel and Trey were fishing with worms and pilling them out regularly. I think they got 4 or 5 in a 2 hour period!
Best fly was a wasp stimulator - incredible on Saturday afternoon - I was getting a strike every 3rd cast. In the end the fish destroyed the two I had so I moved to other large simulators with a similar effect!

I knew the Poudre Canyon in the 1930s when it was isolated and pristine and lovely. I haven't been back but I gather it is now crowded in summer and the river is probably polluted. Sad, sad, sad.
